Very little training is necessary - only 15 minute on average!  The training involves an explanation of each stage of your jump using photos and video footage to assist you.  Before the completion of your training, passengers are required to demonstrate to their instructors that they can satisfy the requirement to lift their legs for the landing phase of their jump. The flight up to jump altitude lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Gold Coast beaches and our tropical Hinterland before your Tandem Master secures him or herself to you on 'Jump Run!'  At this point, your adrenaline will be pumping and your Tandem Master will help you to relax as he or she will once again run you through what you need to do for your jump.

This is the most exhilarating and adrenaline pumping experience of your life! Once you leave the aeroplane from your jump altitude (See Terms & Conditions), you will accelerate up to TERMINAL VELOCITY, which is approximately 220 km/hr. You will FREEFALL right over the beach for 45 life changing seconds until your Tandem Master opens the parachute by 4,000 feet - YAHOO! After your freefall, you'll feel like you've come to a complete stop!  In fact, you're now flying like an Eagle, soaring right above the beach - it's just breathtaking! You can spiral-dive like a rollercoaster, have a steer of the parachute yourself or just relax taking in the beautiful scenery and let your Tandem Master gently bring you back to Mother Earth. Your Tandem Master will steer you back to the Landing Area where you'll be greeted by your friends and family. Your family and friends can follow our Ground Crew Staff down to the Landing Area in their own cars, however, if you like to see a map of the Landing Area to find it yourselves, click here.

If you have chosen to have a Digital Video of your jump; all your friends and family can take a seat to watch our staff edit the your footage onto Video Cassette or DVD along with modern music. If you know that you would like to have a video of your jump in advance, please bring your own music on CD so that we can edit it onto your Skydiving Video. Your Tandem Skydiving Certificate will be presented to you at the conclusion of your jump.  This certificate will have your name printed on the front and has your Australian Parachute Federation 'Student Parachutist' Membership affixed to the back.  This membership is valid for 3 months and entitles you to a discount on any other jump you do with us within that time.  Click here for more information on our current promotions.
