What height will I be jumping from?
We have an average exit height of 12,000 feet (approximately 4,000 metres). While there are other drop zones that offer a 14,000 feet jump, we are restricted in height by the fact that we operate from an international airport. This means that you may miss out on a few seconds of freefall, but in return we can offer you some of the best scenery that you will see on the planet! And you will get to land either right in town or on the beach.

Where will I be landing?
All are landings are done on Kirra Beach not far away from the Gold Coast Airport.

What time do I have to arrive?
The time you book in for is the time we expect you to arrive at our office.

How long will it take?
Please allow between 1.5 - 2 hours for the whole experience. If you have a group booking the duration will depend on how many people will be jumping, please call our office for details. We are also very dependent on the weather so some delays may occur due to weather conditions which is beyond our control.

Can my friends and family watch?
Of course! Bring your family and friends with you to our office and we will ensure that they are there when you land.

What should I wear?
Make sure you bring a pair of flat soled running shoes. We provide you with a jumpsuit to wear over your clothes. Your main concern is to be comfortable so wear casual clothes that are non-restrictive. If you are jumping during winter time, ensure you bring warm clothing as it gets very cold up there! If you are jumping during the summer you are most welcome to wear shorts and a t-shirt, no vests or singlets.

Are there any age limits?
The age limit for jumping in Australia is 14 years. Any person under the age of 18 years needs a parent or legal guardian to accompany them in order to read and sign our indemity form.

PLEASE NOTE:
There is no upper age limit for skydiving, provided you are fit and healthy you can go for a tandem skydive!
Our oldest customer to date was 90 years of age!

I'm afraid of heights!
Many people are scared of heights this is normal! However, jumping out of a plane is different to standing on the top of a tall building and looking over the edge. Our chief instructor has a terrible fear of heights and he has completed almost 12,000 skydives.

I'm really nervous, is that normal?
It's perfectly normal to be nervous. It's not everyday that you jump out of a plane. Enjoy the nerves it's all part of the experience!

What happens if the weather is bad?
There are certain weather conditions that we cannot jump in. We do not jump in rain and we are restricted by a wind speed limit. If the weather conditions are unsuitable on the day that you are booked in to jump you may receive a phone call advising you that your jump has been delayed. As weather conditions are difficult to predict and can change frequently your jump may be put on hold at anytime before you exit the aircraft.

Can I take my camera up in the plane?
Unfortunately no. CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) regulations prevent loose articles being taken up in the aircraft if the door is being open mid flight. However we do offer a full video and photo service for you to choose from.
